UTMF Men Overall Winner Gediminas GRINIUS (Lithuania)

I have experienced both fun and hard time during the race, but I was really happy to overcome the difficulties and come back to the finish gate as the top racer. It was also very tough to keep running this ultra race as I had not fully recovered from UTMB. The course of UTMF was similar to the one of Grand Raid Reunion (La Diagonale des Fous) and really wonderful. Trail was similar as both of them are muddy and require using hands to climb steep uphill. I am really thankful to my wife who supported me at every aid station.

Now I am so happy to finish the race, but the last 6km was really hard. The course resembled to my home ground and I felt very comfortable. I was also moved by the beauty of green and forests. The Japanese staff at the aid stations were very kind and helpful. Thank you everyone for all your support.
