ITRA LAUNCHES AGE CATEGORIES AND A NEW PERFORMANCE INDEX TOOL!

ITRA is pleased to launch its age categories and its new Performance Index search tool available for all ITRA runner members!

This new search function is designed to better let you explore among the 1 million 856 thousand runners referenced in the ITRA database.

Discover the world, continental, or national rankings by age for all trail categories.
On the ‘Ranking’ page of the ITRA website, it is now possible to consult the performance index of all runners and this by age category as well! Click on ‘Create your own ranking’ and use the filters to search the ranking by age category worldwide or continent or country.

On the example below, we have selected in the trail category ‘GENERAL’, men aged 35 to 39 years old to obtain the ranking in the United States. Below the search we get a list of the ranking we are looking for.

NEW PI STATISTICS AND RANKING TOOL

On the same ‘RANKING’ page if you click on the tab ‘PI statistics and ranking’ you will be able to explore the Performance Index for all the runner categories. Use the filters: ‘TRAIL CATEGORY, GENDER, AGE GROUP, CONTINENT, COUNTRY’ to search for the PI statistics of a specific group of runners.

For example, in the screenshot below taken from the ranking page  we have the General Performance Index ranking of all Men aged 35 to 39 years old in United States. We can see that there are 13,369 women in the 35-39 age category in United States and that the average Performance Index is 487, the best is 916 and the lowest is 89.

NEW PERFORMANCE INDEX RANKING SEARCH TOOL

This ‘Performance Index Ranking Search’ is now available on all runner profiles, including your own. You can select from amongst the different filters: ‘TRAIL CATEGORY, GENDER, AGE GROUP, CONTINENT, COUNTRY’ to discover a graphic and ranking information.

The results of this search offers you exclusive data on the position of this runner in the world, in their age category, in their country. It also indicates the ‘percentage ranking’, which is the percentage of people this runner is faster than.

Here is a screenshot taken from the profile of a runner. We can see that in the trail category ‘GENERAL’ out of all women in Europe, in the Age Group 40-44 Women, with a Performance Index of 573, this woman is the 764th, she runs faster than 97.8% of this category. The average PI in this category is 397, the highest is 794 and the lowest is 135.
