MMC tilbyr en rekke ulike distanser i den vakre Meråker-naturen. Fra de barnevennlige 'Miniton'-distansene på 2 og 4 km rundt Teveltunet, via 8 km, 21 km, maraton og helt opp til ultradistansene 70 km og 100 km (og fra 2024: 100 miles/161 km).

About the Race

MMC 42K starter på Sulåmoen og går over 6 av Meråkers tusenmeterstopper. Denne fjellmaratonen starter 410 moh og går etter skogsti de første tre kilometrene før man kommer opp til snaufjellet. MMC 42K har kun 1,8 km med grus/ asfaltvei! Etter 7 km (løypas høyeste punkt 1152 moh) kommer MMC 42K inn på MMC ultraløypa og følger denne i storslått, inngrepsfri villmark til mål på Teveltunet, 440 moh. MMC 42K er fjelløpet for deg som vil gå eller løpe maratondistansen i fjellet.

MMC 42K starts at Sulåmo, and passes over six of Meråker's 1000 meter mountain tops. The mountain marathon starts 410 meters asl and follows a footpath three km through the woods up to the bare mountain landscape. MMC 42K has only 1.8 km of grawel/tarmac roads! After 7 km (highest point 1152 masl) MMC 42K joins the MMC Ultra trail, and follows this through grand, unspoiled wilderness until goal at Teveltunet, 440 masl. MMCM is the mountain trail race for all who wants to cover the marathon distance in the mountains on foot - hiking or running. NEW: Separate class for runner/dog, with separate classification and prizes.

A non-profit organization

Born in July 2013, the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) aims to give a voice to parties involved in trail running in order to promote its strong values, its diversity, the safety of races and the health of runners, as well as to further the development of trail running and ensure a constructive dialogue between the national and international bodies with an interest in the sport.
