The CST is a whirlwind 26km trail run that goes from the town center to the “Devil’s Bluffs” (or “Devil’s Cliffs”) rocks deep in the Vynnikivski forest and back. Along the way, it takes in quite a number of local highlights in a relatively short period – it’s very much a “best of” sort of race. If you can run 10k comfortably on a road, then you’ll probably be able to rise to this challenge, even if it’s your first real trail run. While we strongly encourage foreign visitors to try one of the longer distances (especially the longest race) if they can, this CST allows you to get a feel for the area without the full commitment of a longer race.
