SKYRACE ILLIMANI 2019

Esta imponente y majestuosa montaña se eleva solitaria desafiando al cielo, entre los 6.460 metros sobre el nivel del mar, haciendo contraste con el achatado Mururata que se encuentra más al norte dentro de la cadena andina. Desde la ciudad de La Paz se observa esta montaña con sus brillantes y perfilados picos asentados sobre una base cuadrangular de rocas, la que abarca varios kilómetros de perímetro, cubiertos eternamente de nieve, la que cambia de coloración constantemente debido a las variaciones atmosféricas y al movimiento del sol en su trayectoria sideral, así como por la mayor o menor densidad de vapor de agua que sube desde el fondo de los valles yungueños. Es la montaña más emblemática de Bolivia donde el atleta podrá apreciar la majestuosidad y vistas espectaculares partiendo desde una población cercana conocida como Cohoni a 3.560 m.s.n.m. llegando a las faldas mismas del illimani a 4.500 m.s.n.m. teniendo una vistas del lago Titicaca y la ciudad de La Paz recorriendo arroyos , ríos, típicos de los andes

This imposing and majestic mountain rises alone defying the sky, between 6,460 meters above sea level, contrasting with the flattened Mururata that is located further north in the Andean chain.
