About the Race

To our knowledge, the Beginning is currently the only foot race from Chiang Mai to Pai. Starting from the elephant village of Kued Chang in Mae Taeng District, the trail heads westward along the ridge overlooking Doi Luang Chiang Dao. Through many off-grid villages later, you will climb up to Huay Nam Dang National Park, where many will stay overnight, getting ready for the next stage the day after.
