KADAMAIAN ADVENTURE RACE® or KAR UTLRA Marathon is an extreme outdoor trail marathon that will take participants through a variety of natural jungle settings and cultural landscapes. You'll be able to see the surrounding mountains and valleys, as well as the beautiful Mount Kinabalu, which rises majestically to the north-east of Kota Belud.
Welcome to the 6th Edition of KAR ULTRA TRAIL 2024. Following its inclusion as a "Candidate Race 2023" in Asia Trail Master event, KARC has taken another step forward by including a 110km ultra trail event in Kadamaian, Kota Belud. The KAR ULTRA 2024 will be held at Kg. Tambatuon which is located approximately 32 km from Kota Belud and 80 km from Kota Kinabalu. The race route includes natural mountain trails, dirt roads, asphalt, and single trails. Participants will see beautiful scenery along the trails, including hills, clear rivers, rice fields, and even Aki Nabalu. We welcome participants from Sabah, Sarawak, Peninsular Malaysia and all abroad to enjoy the uniqueness and beauty of Kadamaian’s trail. For the 2023 race, we have decided to offer various distance categories, which are 110km, 60km, 35 km, and 12km. Each event will feature men's and women's open categories, as well as men's and women's veterans. However, the organizer reserves the right to change the types of categories based on the current scenario.
