This route boasts many of the highlights from the infamous 60km route without some of the big climbs but has everything from rocky trails, technical downhills and views of the Outeniqua Mountain Range, but yes Dizzy Heights is included in the MUT Marathon. You will start with the old Voortrekker pass aka; Cradock pass consisting of the biggest climb of the route. From here you will down the Montagu pass to North Station on the Klein Karoo side if the Outeniqua. The Dizzy Heights Climb lays waiting and on the top, you will encounter some of the most sublime mountain running to be had in the Garden Route with 360˚ views all the way down to the George Dam. Get your forest running legs ready as you will finish entering the finishing stretch with the likes of Tonelbos and the last sting in the tail aka Henry’s Hill.
