My soul is singing. It does... The strength of solstice, bright meadows presenting beautiful smells in Piebalga, a cultural-historical territory in the Vidzeme Highland, is famous thanks to its craftsmen and traders since ancient times and a high number of writers, poets, and other creative persons later on. The center of the competition will be located in the countryside exposition Veveri of the Latvian Ethnographic Open Air Museum, and we will stay at a location of farmer-craftsmen's homesteads characteristic of Piebalga. The town's history dates back to the middle of the 16th century. In the 19th century, weaving was the main source of income in Veveri; there were 2-4 operating looms in each homestead.
