Fjällmaratonveckan Årefjällen 2019

Peak Performance Vertical K är ett prestigefyllt lopp som årligen avgörs under tisdagskvällen i samband med KIA Fjällmaraton Årefjällen. Masstart på Åre Torg och mål på toppen av Åreskutan, vilket ger exakt 1000 vertikala höjdmeter. Räkna med maxansträngning från start till mål! Banrekorden att slå är Emmie Collinges 46:24 och Petter Engdahls 40:24 Prispengar till top 3 (herrar och damer): 1a plats – 500€ 2a plats – 250€ 3e plats – 100€

Peak Performance Vertical K is a prestigious race held annually during the week-long Kia Fjällmaraton Årefjällen. Covering 1,000 metres of vertical, it’s the only race of its kind in Sweden and offers something super special to those who give it a go. It begins with a mass start – first the women, then the men – in the main square in Åre and takes participants 1,000 metres up the mountain to the top of Åreskutan. Full effort from start to finish. Race records stand at Emmie Collinge 46:24 and Petter Engdahl 40:24. Top 3 m/f athletes are awarded: 1st – 500€ 2nd – 250€ 3rd – 100€
