MARATÓ PER MUNTANYA MARINA ALTA 2018

La “MARATÓ PER MUNTANYA MARINA ALTA” es la decana de las maratones de montaña en la provincia de Alicante y una de las más antiguas de toda España. En el año 1999 se organizó la primera edición. “La Marató” actual transcurre por la zona costera montañosa del norte de la provincia de Alicante, en el corazón de la comarca de la Marina Alta. El recorrido a pesar de no tener grandes cumbres (la cota más elevada se encuentra a 607 msnm), tiene un nivel técnico muy alto debido a la orografía rocosa y árida del terreno, en muchas zonas incluso llegan desaparecer los senderos y se corre por montaña virgen, hecho por el cual resulta muy difícil pero a la vez muy divertido.

The "MARATÓ PER MUNTANYA MARINA ALTA" is the oldest of the mountain marathons in the province of Alicante and one of the oldest in Spain. In 1999 the first edition was organized. The current Marathon runs through the mountainous coastal area of the north of the province of Alicante, in the heart of the Marina Alta region. The route in spite of not having great summits (the highest elevation is at 607 meters), has a very high technical level due to the rocky and arid of the terrain, in many areas even disappear the roads and runs by virgin mountain, for which it is very difficult but at the same time very fun.
