Über 101km führt der «Z101» über Höhenwege durch die traumhaften Zillertaler Alpen vorbei an einigen der bekanntesten und geschichtsträchtigsten Schutzhütten. Als Läufer*in überwindest Du 8.800hm auf anspruchsvollem, technischem Terrain und schnupperst am Pfitscher Joch italienische Luft. Der höchste Punkt der Strecke liegt auf auf stolzen 3.123m. Der Übergang am Schönbichler Horn markiert das Dach der Tour. Der Z101 bringt Euch an Eure Grenzen und das so RICHTIG.
Over 101km, the «Z101» takes you along high-altitude trails through the gorgeous Zillertal Alps past some of the most famous and historic mountain refuges. As a runner you will overcome 8,800m on challenging, technical terrain and get a taste of Italian air at the Pfitscher Joch. The highest point of the route is at a proud 3,123m. The transition at Schönbichler Horn marks the roof of the tour. The Z101 brings you to your limits – PROPERLY!
Born in July 2013, the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) aims to give a voice to parties involved in trail running in order to promote its strong values, its diversity, the safety of races and the health of runners, as well as to further the development of trail running and ensure a constructive dialogue between the national and international bodies with an interest in the sport.
