The One Hundred® Gran Sasso World Series 100M course is part of the world circuit One Hundred® World Series, which in 2022 takes place in 3 countries (Brazil, Portugal and Italy). The route is 100 miles long (total of 160Km) with 5,040m D+ and starts from Monte Cristo at 1,500m. After climbing Campo Imperatore plateau it will reach the highest point of The One Hundred® Gran Sasso World Series, Monte Aquila 2,494m. Then following east direction the race will go trough main Gran Sasso d’Italia Vilages having a middle point in Assergi. Wonderful Vasto valley will bring runners up to Monte San Franco, then Campotosto Lake and finally come back to L’Aquila.
