The ITRA National League is a new and exciting initiative, open to ALL trail running enthusiasts, aimed at growing the sport at a national level.
By launching this initiative, ITRA’s aim is to:
Promote the development of trail-running at the national level.
Create a challenge accessible to every runner based on simple rules.
Encourage runners to reduce their carbon footprint by running locally.
Expand services for runners and organizers

SEE HOW TO MAKE YOUR RACE ELIGIBLETo be classified you will need to complete a minimum of 3 races being part of the leagues within the same country organised between 01 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
As of January 1, 2024, another year of competition within our challenge will begin etc.
The ranking period is the calendar year.
The first year of the challenge will begin on January 01, 2023, and end on December 31, 2023.

The National League ranking is calculated by country during the same calendar year.
The sum of your best 3 ITRA scores obtained on a National League races will give your National League score.
Example:
Race 1: ITRA score = 500
Race 2: ITRA score = 525
Race 3: ITRA Score = 475
Your National League score: 1500
If you race more than 3 National League races, your 3 best scores will be considered for the final ranking!
The final ranking of each National League will be announced in early 2024.
All rankings will be available to view on the national league ranking page starting from beginning of 2023.
Yes, a runner can be ranked in national leagues in multiple countries as long as he/she meets the requirement of 3 races completed in each of those countries.
