Mont Rochelle SkyRace® starts in the famous Cape wine-growing town of Franschhoek. The race is a Cape Classic and a firm favourite of many trail runners. We've kept the route direction the same as last year. We hope that Perdekop (1575m), the highest peak on the route, will be covered in snow on race day. The 25km race starts with a relentless climb from the Dutch Reformed Church in Main Road, Franschhoek up to Du Toits Peak (1419m). The trails offer a fast-flowing descent into the valley to the Uitkyk Aid Station before another climb up to Perdekop. From here, it's a long and technical descent into the finish in Franschhoek.
