About the Race

The Langeberg SkyRace® is situated just outside the picturesque town of Robertson in the Western Cape. Robertson is 2 hours from Cape Town and has some of the best wineries in South Africa. The local peak Arangieskop (1696m) is the home for the race and is a local legend which towers over the area. Local trail runner and the inspiration for this event, Werner Honing, has personally built and repaired most of the trails used in this mountain classic. The Race Village is situated at Die Laaitjie, a farm near the Dassieshoek Nature Reserve which is 7km from Robertson.
