Alpe Adria Ultra Trail 2021

I primi 1000 D+ nei primi 9 km, iniziando con il Monte Lussari 12 km di discesa, veloce e molto corribile, con quasi 1000 D+ 11 k di salita, lungo i sentieri ombreggiati nei boschi che portano alla Malga Acomizza e all’Austria. Si entra in Austria con 32 km e 1700 D + accumulati. 45 km di respiro, di cui 10 in una lunga discesa molto veloce e 35 di percorso ondulato nella regione dei Laghi. Al km 85 si inizia la salita più impegnativa. Ripida, lunga, ma completamente ombreggiata e tecnicamente non complessa. Da Faak am See verso la Slovenia. 5 km lungo le creste tra Austria e Slovenia… 5 km sembrano pochi, ma a fil di cresta cambierete idea, per il continuo salire e scendere! Anche qui, un percorso mozzafiato, con un balcone rialzato di 1800 metri, ma sempre senza tratti pericolosi. Dal 90 al 97 km si scende verso Kranjska Gora dove dopo un ristoro ci si prepara all’ultimo tratto. 15 km di falsopiano verso i Laghi di Fusine, dove si imbocca la salita verso il Rifugio Zacchi per l’ultimo strappo in salita. Solo 4 km e 900 metri vi separano dalla discesa verso l’arrivo, lungo un sentiero escursionistico agevole e in ombra, accarezzando i laghi di Fusine e poi affacciandosi sul Massiccio del Mangart. Gli ultimi 15 km: discesa non ripida ma costante di nuovo verso l’altra sponda dei Laghi di Fusine e poi lungo l’Alpe Adria Trail fino a Tarvisio. Quasi tutta discesa. Arrivo a Tarvisio dove una meritatissima medaglia vi attende! Here too, a breathtaking route, with a raised balcony of 1800 meters, but always without dangerous sections. From 90 to 97 km you descend towards Kranjska Gora where after a refreshment you prepare for the last stretch. 15 km of slight slope towards the Fusine Lakes, where you take the climb to the Zacchi Refuge for the last uphill stretch. Only 4 km and 900 meters separate you from the descent towards the finish, along an easy and shaded hiking path, caressing the Fusine lakes and then looking out over the Mangart massif. The last 15 km: descent not steep but steady again towards the other side of the Fusine Lakes and then along the Alpe Adria Trail to Tarvisio. Almost all downhill. Arrival in Tarvisio where a well deserved medal awaits you!
