About the Race

The Beacons Trail Marathon is a 26ish mile mixed trail/mountain/canal/road run around the magnificent Brecon Beacons in the middle of November consisting of a single loop of the classic Beacons Ultra route with a quick trip up Pen Y Fan, when climatic conditions can vary quite considerably. We welcome athletes of all abilities and backgrounds to take part in the Beacons Trail Marathon. All we ask is that you are adventurous and determined. If you are concerned about a particular aspect of the event please contact us and we'll help you all we can with your preparations.
