Bogdkhan Mountain Trail 2019 is the second edition of the ultra-running event organized in the beautiful steppes of Mongolia, the country of the endless blue sky. We are excited to welcome runners to experience the beautiful steppes in Mongolia throughout a 64 kilometers run around its capital Ulaanbaatar. This unique race will take place during the last week of July, the best season to discover the mysterious steppes of Mongolia. Trail running offers a wonderful travel adventure. This ultra-distance race has been designed to fit a whole range of running levels and is welcoming to beginners and experienced runners. It will lead you through vast and breathless mountains, open grasslands and meadows in an amazing succession of landscapes.

Born in July 2013, the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) aims to give a voice to parties involved in trail running in order to promote its strong values, its diversity, the safety of races and the health of runners, as well as to further the development of trail running and ensure a constructive dialogue between the national and international bodies with an interest in the sport.
