CANAJAGUA ULTRA TRAIL “Se trata de un proyecto personal; siempre tuve la idea de hacer una carrera en Cerro Canajagua y pensaba hacerla de 5 kilómetros por calle, pero lo veía muy complicado. En el 2021 empecé a entrenar en trillo y un día en mi casa me puse a marcar la ruta desde Google y me salió una ruta de 20 kilómetros desde el Carate hasta la cima del Canajagua; invité a unos compañeros y nos fuimos a hacer la ruta, y en ese momento me nació la idea de la carrera. Luego me reuní con ellos y les dije… voy hacer esta carrera y ustedes me van apoyar. Inicialmente pensé en hacer esa ruta, pero después un compañero me dijo que la hiciéramos desde Santa Marta y nos marcó 25k,… fuimos y luego nos gustó mejor desde ahí. Después hice el logo y abrí la cuenta de Instagram, se filtró la imagen, y desde ese momento la carrera tomó mucha fuerza; tuvimos que escoger la fecha, anunciamos 2 distancias de 25k - 5k y después abrimos las inscripciones y en 14 días se agotaron.
