About the Race

A perfect introduction to ultra-distance trail running, whether you are stepping up from shorter trail races or jumping right in from marathon road running. CM3 offers just about the right amount of challenge - considerable distance and respectable accumulated elevation gain. The race starts with a 10km long climb to the Hmong village (the HQ), then leaves the HQ via Doi Pui Summit trail and venture West along a ridgeline before descending to Pa Nok Kok Village. The path then leads Eastward, taking you back to the HQ for the second and last time. Leaving the HQ to finish your race, the descend is technical in many parts, testing both your skills and stamina.
