2019 Heming H-Soil Heming Mountain Trail Run is a challenging training running race located in Dayi, Sichuan, China. Two distance groups are set in the race, one is 30k and one is 20k. .The starting point of the race is located at Heming Taoist temple. The whole course will run through different landscapes such as bamboo grove, forests and orchard. The types of terrain also vary from field tracks, forest paths, road, and stone stairs. The venue of the race is filled with historical and cultural richness. Heming Mountain, the birthplace of Taoism and the earliest reaching place for Buddhism. The mountain is given its name Heming (Crane sings) as its shape looks like a crane. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Daoling Zhang established Taoism here in this mountain. In the Yuan and Ming Dynasty, Sanfeng Zhang achieved the Tao here. In the near mountain of Wuzhong, Kaihua Temple and Jiewang Temple were also built during the Eastern Han Dynasty. Now these two places are famous for rock climbing and hiking. They also witnessed the early development of trail running in Sichuan Province. Hidden in the mountain, there were abandoned factories which were built for the Third-line Construction. They remain silent for the age, rise and fall.
