Steep climbs, high elevation, unforgettable and wild nature, mountain river crossing, technical sections and an amazing view on Kazbegi Mountain following all the way along the trail. The race starts in village Gergeti and continues through Gergeti Trinity Church parking area to Sabertse Pass via the Winter Path. All along the path, the view of the magnificent Kazbegi Mountain will encourage runners fighting climbs. In the middle of the path, participants of the Fun Run race will take sharp left and reach the parallel Summer Path, have some drinks and food at the point and enjoy their descent to the finish. Runners of the Sky and Extreme races will reach the pass, cross a mountain stream via bridge and stop at Altihut, where check and refreshment point is located. Another 1.5km and Skyrace participants will reach Gergeti Glacier. The next 2km on the Glacier is the toughest part of the race.
