Kilometro Vertical Pico de Orizaba 2017

PRESENTACIÓN: Los organizadores, CORREMONTES DEL PICO DE ORIZABA, A.C. Nos damos la tarea de realizar eventos deportivos en la especialidad de TRAIL, ULTRATRAIL y MOUNTAIN BIKE. Además de estar comprometidos con el medio ambiente, colaboramos solidariamente con las comunidades aledañas apoyando a jóvenes con potencial dentro del atletismo, primordialmente y desempeñamos actividades del Parque Nacional Pico de Orizaba, en especial con la Brigada contra Incendios forestales. Mediante la participación conjunta de CORREDORES, PATROCINADORES y de LOS ORGANIZADORES, aportamos recursos de manera SOLIDARIA a la comunidad y al Parque Nacional, como se menciona líneas arriba. Este año nos complace anunciar la fecha del Kilómetro Vertical, teniendo como programa lo siguiente PROGRAMA: Entrega de kits: Sábado 25 de Abril de 2020 de 10:00 a 17:00, Plaza Río Orizaba Ver. Junto al teleférico. NO habrá entrega de kits el dia de la carrera Evento: Domingo 26 de Abril de 2020 a las 9:00 hrs. Villas Pico de Orizaba, La Perla, Ver. TIEMPO MÁXIMO DE CARRERA 2:00 horas Premiación: Domingo 26 de Abril de 2020 a las 13:00 hrs. Villas Pico de Orizaba, La Perla, Ver. SALIDA Y META: SALIDA: VILLAS PICO DE ORIZABA, La Perla, Veracruz, México META: TORRECILLA ROJA, en el Parque Nacional Pico de Orizaba. EVENTO: Salida en Villas Pico de Orizaba a 3,352 msnm hacia La Torrecilla Roja a 4,277 msnm, en donde estará La Meta. La ruta estará señalizada. El regreso al punto de partida lo harán los corredores por su propio pie. El desnivel positivo es de 960 m (D+ 960 m) y un recorrido de 5.1 Km. El sendero te llevará por la montaña dentro del Parque Nacional Pico de Orizaba. Bosque, espectaculares miradores y la CIMA de México, EL PICO DE ORIZABA como testigo de tu hazaña.
