LAKE BIWA 100 2023

本大会は、関西屈指の山岳エリア（鈴鹿山脈、比良山地等）1,200m級のテクニカルで美しい稜線を縦走する、海外の本格的な山岳100マイルレースと肩を並べるレベルのレースとなります。走力はもとより山岳を踏破するために必要な総合的な能力かつリスク管理能力が問われます。 滋賀県が誇る日本一大きな湖、琵琶湖をとりまく山々の、バリエーションに富んだコースと美しい景色、そして最大級の挑戦を楽しんでいただけます。制限時間は長めに設定していますが、完走すること自体が大きな挑戦となるでしょう。大会要項を熟読のうえ、この超難関100マイルの攻略に挑んでください。

Produced by Kaori Niwa (Salomon Japan Athlete, Ultra-Trail Runner) This is 2nd edition of very tough but beautiful 100 mile race. The race is held in Kansai region (Mie, Kyoto and Shiga prefectures) from 7th to 9th October 2022. Race Introduction : Just 1200 meters level mountains, but it has very technical and hard sections. The toughness of the course is world level, so the time limit is set for 52 hours. You will enjoy walking and running through variety of terrains as well as the very historical temple called Enryakuji at Mt. Hiei in Kyoto. The course is set around the iconic Japanese biggest lake, LAKE BIWA and the finish gate is placed on the beach of this lake. You can enjoy diving into the lake after finishing!
