Con su origen y fin en el pueblo de Santa Ana de Paraguaná, estado Falcón, esta ruta penínsular transita por lugares como el Portachuelo, Machuruca, Tausabana, Maitiruma, Cerro Capubana, Cerro Colorado, la Aguada, Tura y Maquigua. Ruta mixta que contiene tramos con alta tecnicidad en el terreno, condiciones climáticas que pueden ser adversas por fuertes vientos esporádicos y las altas temperaturas que se pueden registrar durante el recorrido. Requiere de un nivel experto de entrenamiento físico y mental, capacidad de semi-autosuficiencia y material adecuado.
With its origin and end in the town of Santa Ana de Paraguaná, Falcon state, this peninsular route passes through places such as Portachuelo, Machuruca, Tausabana, Maitiruma, Capubana Mountain, Colorado Mountain, Aguada, Tura and Maquigua. Mixed route that contains sections with highly technical terrain, weather conditions that can be adverse due to strong sporadic winds and high temperatures that can be recorded during the route. It requires an expert level of physical and mental training, semi-self-sufficiency capacity and adequate material.
Born in July 2013, the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) aims to give a voice to parties involved in trail running in order to promote its strong values, its diversity, the safety of races and the health of runners, as well as to further the development of trail running and ensure a constructive dialogue between the national and international bodies with an interest in the sport.
