Laives Trail 2022

Dopo la partenza dal paese di Laives ad attraversato il centro abitato, si comincia a fare sul serio, imboccando il sentiero n. 1 (sentiero della via crucis). Passata la settima stazione (mezzavia 5,5 km) si affronta una discesa breve ma tecnica, che porta nelle Vallarsa, da dove si comincia a risalire. A questo punto si percorre l’Alta Via di Laives (panoramica e a tratti tecnica) per poi salire fino al punto più alto del percorso: il maso Högger (1360 mt) e percorrere un bosco meraviglioso che porta al bivio di separazione con il percorso lungo (15,5 km). Da qui inizia la picchiata verso il paese di Laives attraverso una lunga discesa che metterà alla prova le capacità di ogni atleta.

Soon after starting in the city center it gets real on hiking trail nr. 1. After passing the seventh station of the pilgrimage hiking trail (Mezzavia 5,5km), you have to pass a short but technical descent, which brings you to the valley “Vallarsa”. There follows a steep ascent. Here you will pass the hiking trail “Alta Via di Laives”, which offers a beautiful view and has difficult, technical passages. After “Alta Via di Laives” you will reach the highest point of the Sky trail, the old and since closed hut “Höggerhof” (1.360m). Thereafter you will run through a beautiful forest, which brings you to a fork in the road that splits the Sky Trail off from the Trail of 51km (15,5km). Here starts the steep descent towards Laives.
