The race is divided into three sections with three athletes choosing one of them: Metsovo-Vovousa 38km 1660m positive altitude difference and 1810m. negative altitude difference. Vovousa-Milia 30km 1720m. positive altitude difference and 1525m. negative altitude difference. Milia-Metsovo 32km 2220m. positive altitude difference and 2270m. negative altitude difference. The start will be at 06:00 in the morning in the central square of Metsovo and will be common for both races, individual and team.
Born in July 2013, the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) aims to give a voice to parties involved in trail running in order to promote its strong values, its diversity, the safety of races and the health of runners, as well as to further the development of trail running and ensure a constructive dialogue between the national and international bodies with an interest in the sport.
