Morenic Trail 2024

BIG ROCK MORENIC ENDURANCE RUN si corre su tre distanze, 50 chilometri, 50 miglia e 100 miglia. Si svolge su un circuito di 10 miglia (16 chilometri) con circa 300 metri di dislivello positivo e negativo. Il percorso è composto da 50% di single track, 20% di sentiero e 30% di strade sterrate. Il Race Headquarters sarà presso l’Area Naturalistica di Pianezze, situata nel comune di Vialfrè (TO). Il circuito parte, transita ed arriva presso il Race Headquarters, dove sarà previsto un ristoro ed una zona dove depositare una drop bag ed avere assistenza da eventuali crew ed amici. A metà circuito sarà posizionato un ulteriore ristoro. Presso il Race Headquarters sarà possibile pernottare da venerdì nell’apposita area Camp (gratuita per i runners) e saranno a disposizione bagni e docce, una zona Food & Beverages e durante lo svolgimento della manifestazione ci saranno iniziative per accompagnatori, amici e semplici visitatori che piano piano verrano svelate e comunicate: vogliamo che BIG ROCK sia un evento che parte dalla corsa, ma vada un po’oltre una semplice manifestazione sportiva. Ma soprattutto ci piacerebbe che i nostri runners avessero il massimo tifo e supporto durante la prova. Esclusivamente per la distanza delle 100 miglia sarà previsto l’accompagnamento di un Pacer dal 50mo miglio (sesto giro). Il Pacer può essere soltanto uno per volta e non può in alcun modo aiutare fisicamente il runner ma solo accompagnarlo.

BIG ROCK MORENIC ENDURANCE RUN is run over three distances, 50 kilometre, 50 mile and 100 mile. It takes place on a 10 mile 16 km circuit with approximately 350 metres of positive and negative altitude difference. The course consists of 50 % single track, 20% trail and 30% dirt roads. Race Headquarters will be at the Pianezze Nature Area, located in the municipality of Vialfre . The circuit starts, passes and arrives at the Race Headquarters, where there will be an Aid Station and an area where you can leave a drop bag and get assistance from crews and friends. In the middle of the circuit there will be a further Aid Station. At Race Headquarters it will be possible to camp starting from Friday in the Camp area and there will be toilets and showers, a Food & Beverages area and during the course of the event there will be initiatives for everyone, crews, friends or simple visitors that will gradually be unveiled and communicated: we want BIG ROCK to be an event that starts with the race, but goes a little further than a simple sporting event. But above all, we would like our runners to have great cheering and support during the race.
