About the Race

Mt. APO Sky & Vertical Race on November 30 - December 1, 2024 at Playa de Obuza Beach Resort, Barangay Darong, Sta Cruz, Davao Del Sur, Philippines. This event is in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Sta Cruz, Provincial Tourism of Davao Del Sur, Department Of Tourism Davao Region (DOT XI), and Boulder Face Challenge. Mt. APO is the highest mountain in the Philippines with an elevation not more than 3,000 meters above sea level. This is the 7th edition from yr. 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023 and this year 2024, with only three (3) distances prepared -100km, 50km and 25km category. This edition is also part of Asia Trail Master series. Please be reminded that only the 100km distance will summit Mt.APO peak, the highest rooftop in the Philippines. Thank you. ;)

Born in July 2013, the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) aims to give a voice to parties involved in trail running in order to promote its strong values, its diversity, the safety of races and the health of runners, as well as to further the development of trail running and ensure a constructive dialogue between the national and international bodies with an interest in the sport.
