Naventura Morretes 2019

A cidade de Morretes está situada na zona fisiográfica do litoral paranaense, estendendo-se da encosta da Serra do Mar para o leste e limitando-se ao oeste e norte com alguns municipios da Região Metropolitana de Curitiba/PR. Ao nordeste com o município de Antonina/PR e a Baía de Paranaguá/PR ao leste com Paranaguá/PR e ao sul e sudeste com o município de Guaratuba/PR. Todas as divisas estaduais são formadas por acidentes geográficos, ao norte e oeste pelos espigões das Serras dos Órgãos, da Graciosa, do Marumbi e da Farinha Seca, no sudeste pelas serras da Igreja, das Canavieiras e da Prata. Possui também uma das maiores elevações do Paraná, o Pico do Marumbi, que tem 1.539 metros de altura. Morretes é uma cidade histórica e rica em arquitetura colonial, com casarões antigos preservados, o que movimenta o turismo local, além de possuir excelentes opções de hospedagens e excelentes restaurantes que oferecem o prato típico da região: o Barreado. Turisticamente está entre os três destinos mais visitados do estado. Com várias opções de entretenimento, variando do gastronômico, cultural, turismo contemplativo, com destaque para o de aventura. Além do Pico do Marumbi destacam-se as inúmeras trilhas, incluindo as históricas Itupava, Graciosa e Arraial. A cidade possui vários rios com águas cristalinas e diversas estradas para atividades off road. A cidade de Morretes/PR é reconhecida também como o berço do montanhismo no Brasil. Em 21 de agosto de 1879, Joaquim Olímpio de Miranda conquistou o Maciço Marumbi, sendo o primeiro registro desta atividade. Localizado dentro do Parque Estadual Pico do Marumbi, o complexo é formado por oito cumes de altitudes diferentes. Alguns locais são acessíveis apenas para montanhistas experientes, mas existem locais belíssimos e de acesso fácil para qualquer visitante. Os percursos da corrida Naventura Morretes são formados por estradas, caminhos de serviços e trilhas em oleodutos. Engana-se quem pensa que os percursos formados em sua maioria por estradas são fáceis, a ultra de 55km por exemplo, tem um acumulado altimétrico com pouco mais de 3.700mts, um grande desafio aos trail runners.
