SORATA SKYMARATHON , es una carrera que se desarrolla en un marco único en la localidad de Sorata es una pequeña ciudad boliviana, capital de la provincia de Larecaja a 150 km de la ciudad de La Paz. Está situada a una altura de 2674 m, tiene un clima templado y se encuentra al pie del Nevado Illampu una de las montañas más altas de Bolivia , ofreciendo a los corredores una experiencia de alto nivel de montaña y que tiene como atractivo Al nevado Illampu (6.368 msnm) conocida también como la “Perla Andina”

SORATA SKYMARATHON, is a race that takes place in a unique setting in the town of Sorata is a small Bolivian city, capital of the province of Larecaja 150 km from the city of La Paz. It is located at a height of 2674 m, has a temperate climate and is at the foot of the Illampu Nevado one of the highest mountains in Bolivia, offering runners a high level mountain experience and which has as an attraction the snow-capped Illampu ( 6.368 masl) also known as the "Pearl Andina"
