O conceito “X´treme” tem que ver com a beleza do percurso e com a sua dificuldade técnica, não com perigosidade do percurso.
A very demanding layout that includes passages through areas of extraordinary beauty of the natural park of sintra, only accessible to the participants of the event. The concept "X ́treme" has to do with the beauty of the route and its technical difficulty. Not with the level of risk for participants.

About the Race
Um traçado muito exigente foi desenhado em 2014, desenvolvido e adaptado posteriormente para esta prova, e inclui passagens por zonas de extraordinária beleza, apenas acessíveis aos participantes do evento. O conceito “X´treme” tem que ver com a beleza do percurso e com a sua dificuldade técnica. Não com o nível de risco para os participantes. Na sua segunda edição em 2018, foi “Campeonato Nacional de Trail”, tendo apurado os vencedores masculino e feminino para os Campeonatos do Mundo de Trail de 2019.
A very demanding track created in 2014 has been developed and adapted to this race and includes passages inside outstanding beautiful private properties only accessible to the participants of the event. The X´TREME concept has to do with the beauty of the track with its technical difficulty and the ability to overcome the challenge. Not with the high level of risk for the participants.
