About the Race
Im Jahr 2021 feierte das Schlegeis300 Vertical seine Premiere und war auf Anhieb ein Erfolg. Die herausfordernde Strecke und das atemberaubende Ziel beim Gipfelkreuz des Riepenkopfes ist für jeden Athleten/jede Athletin ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. 2022 werden die österreichischen Staatsmeister auf der Strecke zum Riepenkopf gekürt. Start ist der Parkplatz am Schlegeis Stausee (Parkplatz Verbund/Olpererhütte) danach direkter Anstieg vorbei an der Olpererhütte zum atemberaubenden Ziel am Riepenkopf Gipfelkreuz.
In 2021, the Schlegeis300 Vertical celebrated its premiere and was an immediate success. The challenging route and the breathtaking finish at the summit cross of the Riepenkopf is an unforgettable experience for every athlete. In 2022, the Austrian national champions will be crowned on the Riepenkopf track. Start is the parking lot at the Schlegeis reservoir (parking lot Verbund/Olpererhütte) then direct ascent past the Olpererhütte to the breathtaking finish at the Riepenkopf summit cross.
