Special Edition: Georgia by RacingThePlanet 2022

The Special Edition: Georgia starts on 19 June 2022, and will be a 250 kilometer / 155 mile, 6-stage, 7-day, self-supported stage race. A special edition of RacingThePlanet will take place in Georgia in June 2022. After a highly successful RacingThePlanet Ultramarathon in Georgia in August 2021, RacingThePlanet will return to Georgia, the Caucasus in June 2022. As part of the famed 4 Deserts Ultramarathon Series, this special edition race will be staged in Georgia to allow those competitors who missed this epic race to take part in this six stage, 250km / 155 miles across the Southern Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The Special Edition: Georgia will count as a qualification race for The Last Desert in Antarctica, and as part of the 4 Deserts Grand Slam and 4 Deserts Grand Slam Plus in 2022 and 2023. Racers in Georgia will experience lush green valleys, stunning National Parks, monasteries from medieval times, and picturesque countryside villages dotted around the mountains.
