中华福寿山是世界罕见、亚洲唯一的野生樱桃李原产地，中华福寿山越野赛创办于2017年，每年四月在野果树花开的时候举办，跑者畅游花海，心旷神怡。2020、2022年因疫情停办，2023年是第五届赛事。本赛事自创办以来，每年发布后受到疆内外跑者的密切关注，并踊跃报名，已成为霍城县的一张体育名片。本赛事设有不同的难度级别，包括10公里、35公里和75公里组三个项目，集娱乐性与竞技性于一体，为了确保参赛者的安全，赛事还设有医疗救护车和专业救援队等配套措施。
