About the Race
The newest addition to the TMBT Race Portefolio, Malaysia's original Ultra-Trail Marathon, held around the base of the World Heritage Site of iconic Mt. Kinabalu. The 37 km course starts at midnight and follows part of the 2nd half of the 109 km race with start and ending at Mount Kinabalu Heritage Resort & Spa at Kundasang, Sabah. The 37 km Night Challenge traverses a combination of jungle trails, dirt tracks and backroads. With the moon being full during the race, there should be a good chance of seing Mt. Kinabalu in moonlight and clad in pink and orange at sunrise.
