La Sprint Race Celaque de 25km Ultra Trail Honduras (UTHON) es una travesía única de un paraíso natural en una tierra de mucho carácter histórico para descubrir la cultura y las poblaciones locales. La UTHON es la más esperada por los experimentados que gustan de los grandes desafíos, llevada a cabo en el municipio de Gracias, Departamento de Lempira, empieza en el Parque Central de Gracias luego se adentra al Parque Nacional Celaque (Villa verde) acumulando 2.200msnm. Este es un gran reto para los atletas por terminar en 6 hrs límite, Dicha carrera es parte del Campeonato Nacional de Trail Running Honduras.
The Sprint Race Celaque 25km Ultra Trail Honduras (UTHON) is a unique crossing of a natural paradise in a land of much historical character to discover the culture and local populations. The UTHON is the most awaited by the experienced athletes who like big challenges, held in the municipality of Gracias, Department of Lempira, starts in the Central Park of Gracias then enters the Celaque National Park (Villa Verde) accumulating 2.200masl. This is a great challenge for the athletes to finish in 6 hours limit, This race is part of the Honduras National Trail Running Championship.
Born in July 2013, the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) aims to give a voice to parties involved in trail running in order to promote its strong values, its diversity, the safety of races and the health of runners, as well as to further the development of trail running and ensure a constructive dialogue between the national and international bodies with an interest in the sport.
