About the Race

Un parcours et une découverte entre montagne et mer, qui raviront les férus de distances intermédiaires. Ce Trail de La Perruche prend son départ à Alexandra Falls. Les passages en forêt et en montagne dans le centre et le sud-est de l’île se succèdent sur une bonne partie du parcours, qui suit subséquemment les pentes douces habillées de champs de cannes menant aux falaises du sud et à l’arrivée dans une ambiance festive sur la plage du Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa.

The Trail de la Perruche has a breathtaking 47km course, connecting the mountainous region of the island's central and south-east area to the sugar cane fields, cliffs and beaches of the wild South. Runners will start at the same place as those participating to the more challenging Trail des 7 Couleurs, near the sacred Hindu lake of Grand Bassin. They will be welcome in the unique atmosphere of the UTRB village on the pristine beach of the Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa after running the final kilometres along the cliffs of Le Souffleur.
