About the Race

Vaarojen Maraton is pioneer among the Finnish trail running events. It is a stage of the BUFF Trail Tour Finland (42,5 km) and Ultra-Trail Tour Finland (130 km). Other courses 13,5 km and 65 km. Alternating altitudes, technically challenging trails and ascetic service points are our cornerstones. The event takes place in Koli, Finland's most well-known national landscape, in and around the Koli National Park, close to the Finnish-Russian border in North Karelia.
