About the Race

Vaarojen Maraton is pioneer among the Finnish trail running events. It is a stage of the BUFF Trail Tour Finland (42,5 km). Other courses 13,5 km, 65 km (day) and 130km . Alternating altitudes, technically challenging trails and ascetic service points are our cornerstones. The event takes place in Koli, Finland's most well-known national landscape, in and around the Koli National Park, close to the Finnish-Russian border in North Karelia.
