Start utrke predviđen je s livade ispod Velikog doma Platak. Slijedi lagani uspon prema Turističkoj stazi dnu staze Radeševo, prelazak preko iste u smjeru akumulacijskog jezera. Dionicu koja slijedi možemo nazvati „Trailaši trče počasni krug“ oko jezera obrnuto od kazaljke na zidu te skreću na naš opjevani Vertikal po stazi Radeševo 2. S vrha pratite Turističku stazu nizbrdo do skretanja prema Snježniku i Rimskim vratima. Na Rimskim vratima slijedi spuštanje Rimskom stazom u trajanju od 2,5 km do prekrasne zaravni „Lazac“ čija je posebnost kontrast livada i prostranih šuma. Od Lazca skreće se desno laganom uzbrdicom prema Schlosserovom domu na Risnjaku kroz predivnu stoljetnu jelovu i bukovu šumu. Zadnji dio uzbrdice postaje sve okomitiji do križanja podno Velikog Risnjaka gdje staza vodi desno po malo zahtjevnijem singliću (čitaj kamen + korijenje). Izlazak na raskršće Cajtige te skretanje lijevo po makadamskom putu do Vilja. Odlična dionica za dodati malo tempa. Kod Vilja ulazimo u labirint vlaka i staza u trajanju od 3,5 km. Ulazak u taj dio nalazi se odmah na desno uz glavni makadamski put u smjeru Gornjeg Jelenja. Nakon cca 300-400 m spuštanja s lijeve strane nalazi se ogromna i duboka jama. Jednom kad se svlada „labirint“ izlazimo na cestu koja se pruža od Gornjeg Jelenja prema Malom domu Sušak. Specifičnost ovog dijela jest i sama bit naziva PGŽ. Prelazak iz Goranskih šuma u nisko raslinje Primorja. S vizure planinskih šuma i vrhova odjednom se otvara cijeli Kvarnerski zaljev sa svojim otocima i morem. Pogled seže i do velebnog Velebita. Slijedi spuštanje prema podnožju vrha Mala Pliš gdje je predviđena okrijepa. Uspon na Malu Pliš, te odmah i na Velu Pliš po grebenu istih vrhova. S Vele Pliši slijedi strmo spuštanje planinarskom stazom koja vodi prema Štabu. Iznenađenje! S planinarskog puta slijedi skretanje prema Bogdinu i u stilu Indiane Jonesa prelazak kroz divljine neprehodanih dijelova Grobničkih alpa, gdje se izmjenjuju šuma, kameni prijevoj zatim ponovno šuma s jednim jačim usponom da bi na kraju izašli na greben prekrasnih livadnih vrhova i pogledom od 360 stupnjeva. Nakon grebena slijedi spuštanje i prelazak makadamskog puta koji se koristi za dovođenje stoke na ispašu. Prelaskom puta slijedi zadnji i dugotrajni uspon ka Platku. Prvo poljskom cestom, pa makadamskim putem prema vidikovcu. Prije vidikovca u jednom oštrom zavoju nastavlja se ravno uzbrdo prema Malom Platku. Izlaskom iz Malog Platka ulazi se u zadnju dionicu gdje se izmjenjuju uzbrdice, nizbrdice i ravni dijelovi kroz šumu. Jednom kad se počinju pojavljivati obrisi Maloga doma Sušak i pojavljivati se osmijeh zbog saznanja da je kraj blizu ulazimo u zadnju dionicu utrke koja uz navedeni objekt vodi ka dnu skijaške staze Radeševo i dalje prema Velikom domu Platak gdje Vas dočekujemo otvorenih srca i s neizmjernim veseljem zbog vašeg truda.

Exit at the intersection of Cajtiga and turn left on the macadam road to Villa. Great stock to add a little pace. At Villa we enter a maze of trains and tracks lasting 3.5 km. The entrance to this part is located immediately to the right along the main macadam road in the direction of Gornji Jelenje. After about 300-400 m of descent on the left side there is a huge and deep pit. Once the "maze" is mastered, we go out on the road that stretches from Gornji Jelenje to Mali dom Sušak. The specificity of this part is the very essence of the name PGŽ. Transition from Goranske šume to low vegetation of the Littoral. From the view of mountain forests and peaks, the entire Kvarner Bay with its islands and sea suddenly opens up. The view extends to the magnificent Velebit. The descent to the foot of the Mala Pliš peak follows, where refreshments are planned. Climb to Mala Pliš, and immediately to Vela Pliš along the ridge of the same peaks. From Vela Pliša follows a steep descent along a hiking trail leading to the Headquarters. Surprise! From the hiking trail there is a turn towards Bogdin and in the style of Indiana Jones crossing through the wilderness of impassable parts of the Grobnik Alps, where the forest alternates, the stone pass then the forest again with a stronger climb to finally reach the ridge of beautiful meadow peaks and 360 degree view. The ridge is followed by the descent and crossing of the macadam road used to bring cattle to pasture.Crossing the road follows the last and long ascent to Platak. First on a field road, then on a macadam road towards the lookout. Before the lookout point, in a sharp bend, it continues straight uphill towards Mali Platak. Leaving Mali Platak, you enter the last section where uphills, downhills and flat parts alternate through the forest. Once the outlines of Mali dom Sušak begin to appear and a smile appears due to the knowledge that the end is near, we enter the last section of the race which leads to the bottom of the ski slope Radeševo ​​and further to Veliki dom Platak where we welcome you with open hearts and immense joy for your effort.
