恩施峡谷英雄越野赛，旨在打造集旅游、文化、运动、自然为一体的顶级越野跑赛事。 恩施是一座著名的旅游城市，当地拥有优质的旅游资源、庞大的游客基数，恩施大峡谷是国家5A级旅游景区、国家地质公园，鹿苑坪是国家4A级旅游景区，中国唯一不通公路的村落位于此。赛道起终点设在恩施大峡谷游客中心广场，4个组别路线分别会经过两个旅游景区核心景点、国有大林场自然保护区等。沿途风景秀丽，具备峡谷、山脉、河流、传统村落、原始森林等丰富多彩的原生态景象。 恩施是一个少数民族地区，充满特色的少数民族文化，中国天然氧吧，赛道沿线森林覆盖率超过90%
