About the Race

Ruta circular por Sierra Espuña coronando dos cotas emblemáticas de Sierra Espuña (Morrón Chico(1440+) y Peña Apartada((1400+)). Salimos desde la pedanía de Casas nuevas, cara norte de la sierra, y por el oeste subimos a prado mayor 1100+ , desde allí volvemos a dirigirnos al Oeste para coronar Peña Apartada, bajamos a las tripas de la sierra para volver a subir a su altiplano, collado mangueta, una vez allí rodeamos el Morrón chico por la solana y los coronamos por el este. Regresamos a Prado Mayor y bajamos nuevamente hasta casas nuevas, en esta ocasión por el este.

Yeti Trail is a mountain race event which takes place in the exceptional Sierra Espuña regional park, home of some of the highest picks in the region. With its already 8th editions, Yeti Trail is a classical race in the South East of Spain, with runners coming from all over Spain but also from abroad because of the mild month of November we usually enjoy, but even more so for the great aerial views you will find in the park.
