About the Race

Berivoi Race is a short, yet highly spectacular race. Starting near Berivoi Monastery, you will climb along the Little River's stream for the first third, then go up for the coniferours forrest, till you reach the stunning juniper'n'rocks area, where the path passes over the Noon Peak and reaches its highest point at 1962 m, before descending towards The Rind refuge, where the spectacular, brutal and technical downhill over The old Foot Mountain starts: 4.3 km with 1020 D- Despite having only 20 km, it's one of the few races of its length that reach the alpine areas, where you can enjoy the all around view. On good weather, during this run you can check out 4 other massifs: Piatra Craiului, Bucegi, Ciuca?, Ha?ma?. Also, you will see a significant part of the Transylvanian Plateau.
